Following the conclusion of the 2023-24 National Rugby Club season, I had the pleasure of engaging with Uganda Rugby Union President Bwana Kayangwe Godwin this afternoon. It was an important moment to express our appreciation for the continued partnership between NBS Sport and Ugandan rugby, which has been instrumental in contributing to the sport’s growth.
During our discussions, we explored new and innovative ways NBS Sport can further support the development of rugby in Uganda. Together, we shared insights on how we can deepen our collaboration and align our efforts toward elevating the sport to even greater heights. The President introduced several benchmarks that will be invaluable as we refine the existing model to ensure even more growth and opportunity for clubs, players, and all stakeholders involved.
We remain committed to working closely with the Uganda Rugby Union to turn these ideas into action and drive meaningful progress for the sport. Our team’s continued engagement with the Union will be crucial as we jointly push the boundaries of what can be achieved, taking Ugandan rugby into its next exciting chapter.
