Today, I spent time with our NBS Television newsroom team in a candid conversation about the responsibility we carry as we cover this week’s general elections. Elections test not just speed, but discipline. They punish guesswork. That is why I emphasized that as we move fast, our verification systems must be even stronger. And if we ever fall short, we will correct quickly and clearly. Trust is our product.
After the engagement, the team was debriefed by their execution heads before we flagged off our field teams to their deployments across Uganda. With bureau chiefs, reporters, correspondents, and stringers positioned across all 147 districts, we are ready to serve the nation at scale.
