Our mother’s name now lives on in a place where life begins—an honor befitting a woman who shaped everything we are. Today, we proudly opened the Mama Kariisa Maternity Ward at Rubaare Health Centre IV, a milestone that reflects both personal gratitude and a deep commitment to community.
This fully equipped ward, with 8 beds and comprehensive maternal and neonatal care, means that expectant mothers will no longer have to endure urgent journeys to Mbarara in hope of safe delivery. It is a step toward dignity, safety, and accessible healthcare for families in the region.
