Today began with my routine blood donation, made even more special by seeing teams from Next Media, Capital FM, Beat FM and KIIS FM Uganda come together to give to people they may never meet. It was a powerful reminder that our purpose goes beyond business; it is about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
We concluded our Triannual 2 at Next Media Talks in the colours of Uganda’s Independence Month—black, yellow and red. I was delighted to welcome our Capital Radio Group colleagues to Next Media Park, marking an exciting chapter in our shared journey.
Audiences today consume content across multiple platforms, and our future lies in connecting our strengths. By bringing radio, television and digital media together, we can expand our reach, nurture talent, create new opportunities for advertisers and build a sustainable ecosystem that supports credible, independent journalism.
I am particularly pleased to welcome Peter Mungoma as Deputy Group CEO and Chief of Radio. His experience will be invaluable as we strengthen our radio business and overall media offering.
