Today, we had the distinct honour of hosting Col. Edith Nakalema, Head of the State House Investors Protection Unit (SHIPU), at #NextMediaPark. What stood out most was Col. Nakalema’s profound act of leadership and accountability. Addressing our team directly, she said, “I take responsibility for any harm security forces may have caused you and your people — we are extremely sorry.” Such humility and ownership from a senior leader is rare and powerful.
Col. Nakalema is one of the finest patriots I know. Her relentless fight against corruption and her tireless efforts to protect Uganda’s investors are vital to the country’s progress.
