Today, I had the honor of meeting @Akeda4 and the #JoeWalker team as they neared the final stretch of their 340km walk from Kampala to Gulu, raising awareness for road safety. With just 10km to go, their dedication and resilience are truly inspiring.
Walking such a long distance for such an important cause is no easy feat, but these individuals have done so with great purpose and unwavering commitment. Bwana Beyanga’s leadership in this initiative is a testament to his patriotism and his belief in the power of safe roads to save lives. His tireless efforts have sparked greater awareness and action around road safety, and for that, we are grateful.
As the team heads toward the finish line, I want to wish them strength for the final steps. Their journey is a powerful reminder that we all play a role in making our roads safer, and their example will continue to inspire us all to pay more attention to road safety.
