Cordial relationships with key stakeholders in Next Media’s purpose to Inform to Transform #Uganda are highly important, and I’m glad for the engagement I had with the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Among, this morning at her office to foster this. Among others, We highlighted the importance of responsible reporting, including our need to continuously be accurate, unbiased and fair in our reporting, as well as giving a voice to diverse perspectives and promoting transparency and accountability in Uganda.
We also discussed strategies through which we can foster a collaborative relationship between media and the Legislature to ensure that the public has access to accurate and relevant information, which is key for the deepening of democracy in Uganda.
