This morning, I had the honor of meeting with some of the brightest minds in Uganda’s creative industry at the #NextMediaPark. Music producers, filmmakers, and innovators like Hosea @Ntaborwa, @ahuurra, Musta Abdallah, Richard Kaweesa, and Washington are at the forefront of shaping Uganda’s creative scene both locally and internationally.
During our conversation, I walked them through the ‘Next Creator Hub,’ still under construction but already alive with promise. This isn’t just another studio or workspace at the Park—our mission is much bigger. The Creator Hub aims to rewire Uganda’s creative economy, helping young talents grow their incomes, expand their reach, and increase their impact.
The future of employment is evolving, and content creators are at the heart of this shift. If we get this right, Uganda’s creative community will go beyond entertainment and viral content—they will build businesses, create jobs, and take our stories to the global stage.
Collaborations like these will drive us forward, and I’m excited about the possibilities ahead. We are on the move, and the future of Uganda’s creative economy is bright.
