Faith, Gratitude, and Legacy in Kabale.

Today in Kabale, I attended a thanksgiving event hosted by Amos Nzeyi in honour of his late father, Nathaniel Sebugunzu, at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Rugarama.

For me, faith teaches gratitude — and gratitude transcends faith. The day marked two significant milestones: the commissioning of the Nathaniel Sebugunzu Conference Centre and the launch of Learning Beyond the Classroom, both powerful tributes to a life remembered through impact.

Several leaders attended in official protocol, including my brother, Thomas Tayebwa, all in recognition of the man Chairman Nzeyi is and the influence he carries.

Chairman Nzeyi is a mentor I hold in the highest regard. He has shaped my thinking on business, service, and giving back. He teaches not merely through words, but through how he lives — calm under pressure, guided by clear principles, and grounded in quiet generosity.

I am proud to be associated with a leader whose legacy is built not only on success, but on significance.
