On the invitation of Chairman Amos Nzeyi, Rotarians from the Rotary Club Kigo Seven Lakes Golf recently traveled to Bulago Island fishing village for a medical outreach in partnership with UMC. Volunteers conducted health check-ups and distributed essential medicines to residents, ensuring immediate care for those most in need.
During the visit, the team identified significant gaps in education and WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) facilities on the island. In response, the club has committed to adopting the village and supporting the development of these critical services. This initiative aims to strengthen community health, expand learning opportunities, and enhance the overall quality of life for Bulago Island’s families.
Members and friends of the club have already contributed funds to deliver the planned facilities in the coming months. Their dedication reflects the true spirit of Rotary—Serve Above Self—and demonstrates how collective generosity and action can drive meaningful, lasting change.
The Rotary Club Kigo Seven Lakes remains proud of its volunteers and partners whose commitment continues to transform communities.
