Shining the Spotlight on Ugandan Rugby: A Bold Step Forward

In August 2022, we took a small but deliberate risk—we began covering Ugandan rugby. It wasn’t the obvious choice, but something about the sport, the energy, and the untold stories felt important. Today, that risk has grown into a proud moment: the signing of a 3-year partnership with @UgandaRugby.

This journey has taught us that rugby in Uganda is more than just a game. It’s a powerful narrative unfolding across schools, universities, national tournaments like the 7s, the Uganda Cup, and the Rugby Premier League. Each match brings intensity, and every player carries a story worth telling.

We’re thrilled to continue walking this path—following the game, the passion, and the people behind it.

Even more exciting is Uganda’s role as host of the Rugby Africa Cup for the second year in a row. This year, it doubles as a World Cup Qualifier, and once again, @NBSportUg stands as the Official Broadcast & Production Partner.

The spotlight is back on Uganda, and we’re here to make sure the world sees and hears every beat of it.
