I extend my sincere appreciation to the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, Rt. Hon. Justine Lumumba, for making time to engage with us, listen to the challenges facing the media industry, and share her valuable insights and guidance.
The engagement was an important opportunity to share perspectives on the issues affecting our sector and explore how continued dialogue and collaboration can contribute to a stronger, more sustainable media industry in Uganda.

I believe that constructive engagement between government and industry stakeholders is essential to fostering an enabling environment for responsible journalism, innovation, investment and sustainable growth.
As the media landscape continues to evolve, we must remain committed to working together to strengthen our industry and ensure it continues to inform, educate and transform the communities we serve.
