Today, as the National Association of Broadcasters – Uganda (NAB) Chairman, I chaired our monthly EXCO meeting to discuss the state of the media industry. The meeting focused on a range of issues affecting the industry, including the recent presidential directive on government communications and the role of Signet in providing Free-To-Air services to the media industry.
As an industry, we remain committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive media industry consisting of both public and private players to enable the media freedom and pluralism we need for the Transformation of Uganda we all want, the protection of our media rights, and the development of our people.
