Empowering Uganda’s Boda Boda Industry through a New Partnership for Financial Literacy and Road Safety.

This afternoon, I had the privilege of engaging with leaders from the United Boda Boda Riders Cooperative Union, who have recently launched the @UnionAppUg. We’re excited to announce that we’ve formed a partnership aimed at improving the livelihoods of Ugandans working in the boda boda industry—a sector that is vital to our daily lives and economy.

Our collaboration will focus on two key areas:

  1. Financial Literacy: We’ll work together to empower riders with better money management skills, helping them take control of their financial futures.

  2. Road Safety: Through our #LinnyaStep CSR campaign, we aim to promote safer roads because every life matters.

In addition to these focus areas, we’re bringing our #SanyukaOwakabi energy into this partnership, which celebrates and uplifts the everyday Ugandan. By combining our efforts, we are taking concrete steps toward creating a safer, more empowered boda boda industry.

This partnership holds great promise, and we are committed to driving meaningful change that will transform the sector for the better. Together, we’ll make a lasting impact, improving both safety and financial security for riders across Uganda.
