This morning, I had the pleasure of welcoming Stanbic Bank Uganda’s new Chief Executive, Mumba Kalifungwa, and his team to the #NextMediaPark. In today’s fast-paced world, taking the time to show up in person speaks volumes—and Mumba did just that. His presence, along with his team’s, made for a truly engaging and insightful session.
We had deep conversations around strategy, purpose, and most importantly, Uganda. Stanbic Uganda’s refreshed purpose—“Uganda is our home, we drive her growth”—deeply resonates with ours at Next Media: “We Inform to Transform Uganda.” That alignment is more than coincidence; it’s a call to collaborate more meaningfully for the greater good of our country.
What stood out most was the genuine commitment to national development that both our institutions share. It’s this kind of shared purpose that fuels real, lasting partnerships—and today, that flame burned brighter.
