My Journey with Rotary as i step into Service.

When RIDE Emmanuel Katongole and CP Dr. Jimmy Mugerwa visited me at Next Media, I didn’t realize that moment would ignite a passion for Rotary in me. This week, I was installed as President of Rotary Club of Kigo 7 Lakes—a club close to my heart, where purpose meets action.

Guided by Qur’an 2:177 and Proverbs 19:17, we’re living out the spirit of service. This year, we’re focused on real, transformative projects: building 14 classrooms at Kigo Prisons Primary School, establishing the Mama Kariisa Maternity Ward in Rubare, and hosting quarterly medical camps. These aren’t promises—they’re already underway.

Our installation night was extra special—we welcomed 15 new Paul Harris Fellows, surpassing our annual target in just one evening. It’s a testament to our growing momentum and commitment to impact.

To my wife, Judith, your support and inspiration fuel me daily. To Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, thank you for honouring us. And to DG Kyeyune Kawooya, our partners, Rotary family, and my team at Next Media—thank you for believing in the vision.

Together, we will amplify the visibility and value of Rotary across Uganda.
