This afternoon, we had the honour of welcoming Princess Ruth Nsemere Komuntale Akiiki and Duke Anthony Phil Mark to the Next Media Park, ahead of this year’s Ekyooto Ha Mpango celebrations.
Uganda is truly blessed to have a treasure like Princess Komuntale—a gracious ambassador for the Tooro Kingdom and our nation at large. Her presence, alongside the vibrant young people of Tooro, was a powerful reminder of the responsibility we carry as media leaders.
In a country where the majority of our population is young, the future lies in how well we inspire, inform, and guide the next generation. Today reinforced for me why platforms like @nextmediaug exist—to not only tell stories, but to transform lives and multiply impact.
We remain committed to supporting the voices and efforts of cultural institutions like Tooro Kingdom—and all others across Uganda. These voices shape identity, pride, and ultimately, the national story.
Together, let’s continue building a Uganda led by empowered, purpose-driven youth.
