Today marks a significant milestone in Uganda’s creative landscape with the official launch of #NextCreata at the #NextMediaPark. I am deeply grateful to the Rt. Hon. @Thomas_Tayebwa, Dr. Patricia Ojangole (MD, @UDB_Official), Julianne Mweheire from @UCC_Official, and all our partners, creators, and media personnel who joined us this morning.
#NextCreata is not just a hub; it’s a movement designed to empower creators, foster innovation, and drive economic impact. This unique space combines studios, training programs, and a clear brief-to-delivery path to ensure that creators can not only produce content but also get paid for their work. It’s about transforming talent into sustainable livelihoods at scale.
Under #NextCreata, we’re building an ecosystem that includes the Next Creator Hub, Next Influencer, and platforms like @afromobileug and @UgaTunes for video and music distribution. This is a comprehensive model where creators, brands, MSMEs, and young Ugandans can thrive and access real opportunities.
