Today was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose.
My day began with my routine blood donation, made even more meaningful by seeing teams from Next Media, Capital FM, Beat FM and KIIS FM give together for people they may never meet. We later closed our Triannual 2 at the #NextMediaTalks, celebrating our Transformers and welcoming our Capital Radio Group colleagues to the Next Media Park.
This integration is about more than bringing media brands together. It is about building a stronger, more sustainable African media ecosystem. Audiences today consume content across multiple platforms, and we must evolve to meet them wherever they are. By combining our strengths in radio, television, digital and journalism, we can expand our reach, unlock opportunities for talent and build diverse revenue streams that support independent, credible journalism.
I am particularly delighted to welcome Peter Mungoma as Deputy Group CEO and Chief of Radio. His experience and leadership will add tremendous value to our journey.
To all our Transformers, congratulations to our top performers. The next chapter is ours to build.
